X- Factor Fashion - Guilty Pleasures

Saturdays X-Factor show saw performances by the remaining 12 contestants of er... 'guilty pleasure' melodies and then the departure of John Adeleye. Awww.

As loving fans of the effervescent Mr Michael Buble, we were very satisfied with his 'Hollywood' performance as well as X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole's performance of 'Promise this'.

This weeks Judges fashion winner: Cheryl Cole

The female judges fashion this week was a glorious mix of glamour and class. Saturday's show saw Danni in a deep blue fitted 'Victoria Beckham' dream dress and Cheryl in a peach perfection maxi by HMH Couture. Sundays show saw both women up the glamour stakes with Cheryl in a silver one shoulder mini dress with peep toe boots and Danni in a classy black princess dress with white and silver print.

As for the contestants, we select this weeks fashion Hits and Misses.

X Fashion Misses

Cher Lloyd
No diggity if you like the style but next time 'shout' at the stylist!

John Adeleye
Zooming in silver lamé, really?

Mary Byrne
We're not 'loving you' in this suspicious dress!

One Direction
There's casual and then there's casual!

Paije Richardson
Not an all rounder for us, too top heavy with the bold colours.

Rebecca Ferguson
More Rebecca Rabbit but not in a 'we love that cartoon' way!

Treyc Cohen
More 'nest' chick than rock chick!

Tune in next week for more X-Factor Fashion.

Trends Feature: The Trapper Hat

So as we've all been braving the chills, you'll understand the value of a 'winter warmer'. So todays feature is the 'Not-so-new but-always-needed ' Trapper Hat.
Featured in many high street stores such as Topshop, Next and Miss Selfridge, there are many styles and colours for the ladies to choose from.

Never forgetting the fellas, head down to H&M for your woolie versions or sports giant Footlocker for the New Era designs, which I got formyself just because I loved the design so much.

Fashion Should Be A Country!

Trends Feature: Zoe Corsellis strapless polka dot dress

So... the gloomy days are upon us! But that shouldn't stop you reflecting a warmer spirit.

So to start you off, I've found this 'sun' inspired strapless polka dot dress by Zoe Corsellis from The Look Boutique.

Obviously, I recommend wearing a jacket in between party venues, a red nose is not the best accessory for this outfit. Bumblebee!

Dress Like A Star: Cheryl Cole

Inspired by Cheryl Coles 2010 X-Factor dress, I've found this cute little sweetheart cut away dress from ASOS.

Perfect for any evening soiree, simple, chic and classy.

Style Tip: Pair with gold accessories for a glorious look.

X- Factor Fashion (Musical Heroes Theme)

So this week, the er... 'Talent' show featured the departure of 'Rock n Roll' Storm Lee and the 'Fabulously Camp' Diva Fever.

In other exciting news....

This weeks Judges fashion winner: Danni Minogue

The female judges fashion battle was underway as Saturday's show saw Danni make an entrance in a 'Victoria Beckham' one shoulder maxi dress and Cheryl in a 'not-a-favorite-of-ours' black jumpsuit with satin detail. Sundays show saw both women in bold blacks with Cheryl in a 'do-you-remember-that-Beyonce-and-Shakira-video' dress with gladiator heels and Danni in a classy velvet and sheer detail body con knee-length dress.

As for the contestants, we select this weeks fashion Hits and Misses.

X Fashion Hits

Treyc Cohen
Last weeks Fashion Miss is this weeks Top hit.
Her bejeweled quilted leather dress did this ladies figure a favour.

Rebecca Ferguson
Not so keen on the swept back middle parted hair but Rebecca 'just about' pulls it off.
Her figure hugging purple dress was a royal success.

John Adeleye
We definitely think John had an input into to outfit this week as it was so much more youthful
and cool than last weeks 'I-borrowed-this-from-my-grandad' suit!

Aiden Grimshaw
We're not the biggest fans of his 'I'm-about-to-lose-it' singing but he definitely
looked suave on Saturday night.

Katie Waissel
Still not her number fans but we've got to admit, simple, neutral and chic suit this little lady.

One Direction
We're actually not fans of their 'we've-just-come-from-the-farm' outfits,
but just like Cheryl, we can't get over how cuuuuute they are!

X Fashion Misses

Cher Lloyd
Her 'gettup' on Saturday looked a multicoloured mess and unless someone let one loose
next to her, someone needs to advise her to stop screwing up her face like a mushroom,
"it's just not hood!"

Belle Amie
As much as we adore these girls, pink, sequins and frills altogether should be
left to six year old girls.

Mary Byrne
And they say black is flattering...
At least her performance was spectacular

Wagner Carilho
Well... all we can say is that we didn't know chest hair was a fashion accessory!

Trends Feature: Alexander McQueen Sweater

Every so often, I feel the need to shower you with gifts! So todays gift is this wondrous Alexander McQueen sweater from Colette.

The gorgeous wool and silk blend intarsia sweater comes from the late designers 2010/11 A/W Ready To Wear Collection and features gold embroidery and jacquard print.

It may not be chicken change at £700.55 but it's definitely a worthy investment.

Trends Feature: Dorothy Perkins hooded fur trim toggle coat

Finding the right winter jacket can sometimes be a challenge, they're either too bulky, not warm enough, too costly or just not trendy enough! So I thought I'd start you off in the right direction.

This simple but trendy hooded fur trim toggle coat I found in Dorothy Perkins will surely guard you from those winter chills while leaving a bit of room for fashion.

At £65 and also in black and checkered, who said winter can't be wondrous!

Trend Spotter: Emilie

Todays style salute goes to Emilie, 30.

The French native who is an Accounts Manager in London put together a simple yet chic outfit that screamed understated elegance.

With her patent sky scraper stilettos, silk layered top and gray cardie, Emilie managed to make sophistication look easy. Must be a French thing!

Emilie, We salute you!

Trends Feature: Office Delicious Lips flats

Kiss my feet... well thats what these cute Delicious Lips flats from Office will be doing once you've tried them on. In two popular colours and on sale from £42.00 to £25.00, you wont have a single regret. Reminiscent of Viviene Westwoods recent designs, you can really blow a kiss to feet fashion!

X- Factor Fashion

As much as we at Twynkle Loves are not so pleased with some the X Factor judges (i.e. Cheryl Cole and Danni Minogue) decisions (i.e. Cher Lloyd and Katie etc), we're still tuning in, not just to watch the gimmicky performances, cringe-worthy renditions and some actual talent but to see who's wearing what.

So for the first live finals on Saturday, it was all about the female judges, well it always is, Louis and Simon don't really give much variation!

Cheryl started off with a black one shoulder dress with lace detailing and gladiator heels and carried on the lace trend into Sundays show with a silver boobtube number covered in lace detail.

Danni's Saturday outfit was a lace inspired sleeveless and knee length dress, while her Sunday piece was a gorgeous black princess cut ruffle layered dress although we weren't too keen on her hair, that ponytail looked a bit too stuck on.

The contestants fashion was a big talking point amongst the judges on Saturday but we have our clear hits and misses.

X Fashion Hits

Rebecca Ferguson
Old Skool Glamour with Red lips and ponytail, Lace outfit too.

Mary Byrne
Simple Black Chic with chandelier earrings and plaited updo.

 X Fashion Misses

Cher Lloyd
The only thing we were excited about Cher getting through for was the makeover stage,
but that still hasn't saved those eyebrows!

Treyc Cohen
As much as we genuinely love Treyc,  her hair was better before the makeover and if
they had given her anything else tighter to wear, she would have been naked.
There's hugging in all the right places but this dress isn't it! Nice colour though!
