This has to be one of my favorite style spots. This week I met 17 year old vintage flower Hannah Smith, whose personal style is fresh, inspiring and quirky. Blending family fashion with her current closet, Hannah hits all the marks.

Jewellery Feature: Lucy Izzi

Like many Stylista's, I love my accessories and using them as a power tool in my style and work. So I was giddy with joy at discovering Lucy Izzi, a new London based jewellery designer. Having stumbled upon her stall in Merton Abbey Mills Market on the weekend, I was completely shocked at the quality of her designs and work but even more at her prices. (bracelets from £5, shocker!).

Lucy's jewellery aesthetic is elegant, demure and intricately detailed. The mostly beaded beauties are all handmade by the designer and unique to all its wearer's.
As well as jewellery, Lucy also creates art pieces and other accessories, check out my new Dalmatians and stars mirror, so cute.

You can get Lucy's designs at her neat little stall at Merton Abbey Mills market on sundays or email her for enquiries at: lucianaizzi@hotmail.com.

J-Lo: When Video meets Vogue

I wasn't a fan of J-Lo's last song or video (the one in the club with Pit Bull or Bull dog, something!) but this video for 'I'm into you' featuring Lil Wayne, has got me hooked. Her video is like a rolling D&G/ Cavalli Editorial, Just GORG!

She just had to put in the random dance scene but above all, the gold tones, black & white elements and outfits are just so alluring, edgy and high fashion. Forget J-Lo, more J-Vogue.

Cheryl Cole Auctions Dresses at ASOS Marketplace!

Who doesn't want an 'in' to a celebrity's wardrobe? Now Cheryl Cole (or Tweedy, maybe!) give's fashionista's everywhere the chance to own any of her 20 chosen designer pieces she's put up for auction on ASOS Marketplace. As excited as I am about the news, I wonder how her dress sizes will appeal to the masses, she's not exactly average.

Starting today with the first 11 pieces, the proceeds from the lowest unique bid auction, will go to The Cheryl Cole Foundation, which was set up this February with The Prince’s Trust to help underprivileged young people in the North East of England. Well at least the auction isn't limited to a specific demographic, that would be a fashion disaster.

View Cheryl's Dresses below.

Lara Stone is the face of Tom Ford's new skincare line

Absolutely gorgeous... are these new campaign pics for the launch of Tom Ford's new skincare line. Featuring Dutch model Lara Stone alongside the designer in the campaign for his new beauty collection, the imagery is flawless and bold. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Pigott, the collection is alluring and in the designer’s own words it’s “practical”.

So let's get practising...

My Crystal Calling

I already swim in crystals but this is a dive!
I'm in love with this Swarovski crystal encrusted telephone, spotted on 'Kloe & Lamar' on E!

Nicola Roberts: L.O.V.E... Not sure!

I love the fact that after a few years being tangoed, Nicola Roberts (formerly of Girls Aloud fame) realised she was so much more stylish being her truly pale redheaded self, so original. I even loved her solo project make up line for pale skin (niche) but I'm not so in love with this new track.

See, it's not that I don't like it, It just sounds like a track just fit for radio and my stereo! When I watch the video (below) Nicole strikes me as a tad uncomfortable, like she needs to let loose. Yes I realise she's out of her comfort zone of hiding behind a group but the whole hip/ butt swaying and pumping at the beginning, really?

And the fashion style...
I'm not so keen on the printed shorts/ cardigan combo, it's a great piece but I would have styled her in something that would have accentuated her hips more (or at all) and given her a bit of shape although the multi-strapped shoes are T.D.F!
I do love the multicoloured Mohair over sized jumper with her hair high up look though, very old skool hip hop.

Music Blast: Emily Bakosi

I'm loving this faith pop song 'God is Real' by singer (and friend) Emily Bakosi. The upbeat track plays host to Emily's soulful voice and with over 26,000 youtube hits and counting, it's already a popular choice.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

Ding Dong: Lily Allen gets married wearing Delphine Manivet

Lily Allen weds her beau today and I wish her wedded bliss.
Now onto the dress... to be honest I think it should have been more form fitting although I do love the vintage appeal. The French designer Delphine Manivet piece (rumoured first to be Chanel) has a gorgeous fishtail detail but a break in the midsection is missing. A beautiful black slim fabric bow belt would have been perfect. A Vintage Victory!

UPDATE: Since my feature, I learned Lily is also pregnant, so double congratulations.

Repeat & Restyle a la Michelle Obama

I'm always going on about re-working and re-styling, as a Stylista who loves to customise and personalise fashion, I think it great to be able to get the highest pay per wear rate on your fashion pieces. You'll be amazed how different one dress could look reworked over one week with different coats/ jackets/ cardigans, belts, shoes and accessories. Vogue.com even did a feature on the topic called '1 Girl, 1 Dress, 5 Looks' a while ago.

June 2011

Michelle Obama is definitely not one to repel repetition, having worn one of favourite dresses four times and counting. Her printed cinched at the waist Tracy Feith number has had many state visit appearances. It's great to see such a high powered woman not too high up to repeat and rework (well with the shoes anyway!)

Twynkle Loves Hewitt

I think it's a bit of a shame that according to Slate.com, Jennifer Love Hewitt is the most critically panned actress of the past 25 years.

I absolutely loved her in Ghost whisperer; well to be honest I was more in love with the fashion. I'm giving a viral high five to the series costume/ Wardrobe supervisor Barbara Inglehart (2007-2010, the best bits) who took the fashion to another level. Yes sometimes Melinda Gordon (Jennifer Love Hewitt) who lived in a small town, dressed like she was going to a costume gala rather than work but I have to say it was the main reason I tuned in every Wednesday.

Anyways I digress...

As much as I agree with the decision based on recent analysis of data from the Rotten Tomatoes web archives for her films like 'I still know what you did last summer' etc, it gives me comfort that her TV career is more positively recognised.
