Fashion News: Who Counterfeit's Primark?

A fake version of Primark, the biggest discount store in Europe, opened in Bur Dubai on Bank Street this week, with  two floors, inexpensive clothes, the lot.

Firstly, I'd just like to say, who on earth counterfeits Primark????? Normally, counterfeiter's go for elusive and expensive brands but it seems these criminals had a different game plan. They went for the popular, cheap and accessible approach to fraud, which could have worked had it not been so erm... popular!

Primark have denied opening a store in the UAE stating in Abu Dhabi-based newspaper The National that they were seeking legal action against the company running the bogus store 

"We are aware that there is a store in Dubai that purports to be part of our group, Primark does not operate any stores there and this is not, therefore, a legitimate Primark store. The company is considering its legal options as a matter of urgency." the UK retailer said.
